Panasonic Toughbook S10 Laptop Comes To The US

Panasonic has recently announced that it will be bringing its new Panasonic Toughbook S10 rugged laptop in the US. Called as the Panasonic Let’s Note S10 in Japan, this rugged laptop will he entering the US market under the Panasonic Toughbook line of laptops. It is directed for professionals in the business and government sectors that rely not only on a notebook’s performance but also on its durability and security features as well.

The Panasonic Toughbook S10 features an 2.4 GHz Intel Core i5 vPro processor, a 12.1 LED widescreen display, 320GB shock mounted HDD, and with 4 to 8GB of RAM. As it belongs to the Toughbook line of notebooks, the Panasonic S10 is also built to be rugged, able to survive a drop of 30 inches with its tough magnesium alloy casing. It also comes with a spill resistant keyboards. Innovative features on the Panasonic Toughbook S10 include its circular scrolling touchpad and its front-facing DVD drive. Its long 12.5 hours of battery life makes it an ideal laptop for those who are always on business trips and meetings.

The Panasonic Toughbook S10 is expected to be available in the US by September of this year at selected Panasonic retailers. It is expected to cost at a base price of around US$2,449.
