Electronic gadgets can only be useful if they have power. That is why an emergency power supply is quite important especially for businesses and even homes that depend on using such gadgets. Sony tries to offer such an option by coming up with the Sony ESSP 2000 UPS.


The Sony ESSP 2000 UPS is a heavy duty emergency power supply aimed for those that need standby emergency power. It comes with an energy storage module made up of lithium ion iron phosphate batteries. It can store up to 2.4kWh of power for emergency backup power. It comes with six outlets with a 100 volt output each. It is quick charging via 100 volt outlet, which can charge up to 95 percent in as little as 2 hours. The Sony ESSP 2000 UPS is expected to come out sometime in September. It is estimated to cost around 2 million Japanese Yen or around US$25,890.
