While Nokia has been facing tough times lately in terms of handing over its top mobile phone maker status to its competitors, it hasn’t stopped in trying to regain back its market share by coming up with new and interesting products. One of the recent ones it came up with is the new Nokia 701 smartphone.

The Nokia 701 smartphone is purportedly to have the brightest LCD display in the market. It comes with a 3.5 inch IPS LCD touchscreen display featuring ClearBlack technology giving the display a good combination of brightness and contrast. The Nokia 701 also comes with a 1GHz processor and comes with pentaband radio support. This smartphone also comes with a 2GB internal memory with support for an additional 32GB microSD memory card. It also comes with an 8MP full focus dual Led flash camera and a secondary front facing camera as well. The Nokia 701 also comes with Bluetooth, GPS and WiFi support as well. This new Nokia smartphone is expected to be available in the European market by the 3rd quarter of this year.. it is expected to cost around 290 Euros or around US$415.
